Q.【windows7】want to control volume of my Microphone.
 


1.Click Start Button on the taskbar.
  

2.Click Control Panel on the Start Menu.


3.If View By at the upper-right corner of the Control panel is set at Large/Small icons,
click the View by button and select Category. (labeled Category by default)
Click Hardware and Sound.


4.Click Sound.


5.Sound window will open ? Click Recording tab, then double-click Microphone.

The bars in the red square shows volume of the microphone.
If the green bars moves when you talk to the microphone, the microphone is working fine.

If the bars are shown as following ways, Microphone input Levels are incorrect.

 Green bars does not show at all, or only appears when you talk in large voice.
 >Microphone input level is too low.

 Green bars reach top almost all the time.
 >Microphone input level is too high.



6.Configure Microphone Input Level if not set properly.
Select the Microphone and click Properties.


7.Click Level tab.

8.See below for configuration.

  ・If Microphone Input level is too low, Move the Microphone Boost bar to right.
  ・If Microphone Input level is too high, Move the Microphone bar to left.



Sound may distort when Microphone Boost is set too high.
Try configuring from lower level and choose best volume.

If these directions did not solve the trouble, some other software in the computer might be the reason of the troule.
Follow the PC manual or ask PC supplier for solutions.
