 Andriod OS: How to Pair via HID Profile

Directions to pair devices with Bluetooth keyboard
by using Android OS Bluetooth function



※GALAXY S SC-02B (OS 2.3.6) is used in this example.


 Android OS

1. When your keyboard has a SPP/HID switch button, please switch it to the HID side.



2. Tap Settings icon on the home screen


※Icon image varies depending on your device model.


3. Tap Wireless & Networks



4. Tap Bluetooth Settings



5. Check if Bluetooth is ticked (enabled)



<Check>
 Bluetooth is enabled
 Bluetooth is disabled - please tap to turn on


※Display may vary depending on your smartphone mode.
  Please refer to the manual/manufacturer to enable Bluetooth.


6. Tap Scan devices (Search devices) to turn on Pairing mode.
※It searches available Bluetooth devices around you.



7. Press CONNECT button on your keyboard.





※Please see the manual supplied with the product to locate a CONNECT button.


8. Your keyboard name appears in the list when it is detected from your Android device.
Please tap it.


※Pairing with TK-FBM032EBK (keyboard) here.
  Displayed name varies depending on your keyboard model.


9. A window appears - code (numbers) is given

Type the numbers given with your Bluetooth keyboard
and press Enter/Return.


※Entered numbers are not showing up on your Android screen.



※Please DO NOT use ten-keys to enter the code.



<When pairing failed>

Please try the steps again - make sure to;

 ・Press CONNECT button on the keyboard.
 ・Enter the correct PIN code.



When it keeps failing
Pairing information of the product may have been already remembered
and it may be causing troubles when recognizing.


Please see the directions below to remove the already remembered pairing information.


10. It displays Connected - Successfully paired



11. Please try to type with your Bluetooth keyboard and see if it works properly

 How to Remove Devices from the List


Your Bluetooth keyboard's pairing information might have been already remembered on your iOS device.

Please see the directions below to remove it.


 Android OS

1. Tap Settings icon


※Icon image varies depending on your device model.

2. Tap Wireless & Networks



3. Tap Bluetooth Settings



4. Tap and hold the device name that you want to remove

※Please make sure that Bluetooth is enabled.

※When the device name is no there, it means that it is not remembered on your Android device
  and a device removal is not needed.


5. Tap Unpair
